This article will describe how to install CLR Browser Source Plugin for OBS Classic on Windows.
Step 1: Check for the necessary components
MS Visual C++ Runtimes (2013 or higher) and .NET (4.5 or higher) must be installed to run the plugin.
You can download them for free from Microsoft's official website:
- .NET: installer;
- MS Visual C++ Run Times: web installer or stand-alone installer.
Step 2: Download the plugin
The plugin's download links can be found on the official OBS website: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/clr-browser-source-plugin-obs-classic-only.22/.
REMEMBER: Choose the plugin architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) based on the architecture of the OBS software, not Windows.
Step 3: Install the plugin
Unzip the plugin into the plugins folder in the OBS Classic folder. For example:
- In the 32-bit version of OBS Classic, this folder might be: C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins\
- In the 64-bit version of OBS Classic, this folder might be: C:\Program Files\OBS\plugins\
That's it!
Now you have the CLR Browser Source Plugin installed in your OBS Classic, which means you can embed various web pages directly in the scene.
